JRMS and CHS families - the NEASC Accreditation Process has begun and we need your feedback.
The New England Council of Schools and Colleges is an organization which helps schools to assess, support, and promote high quality education and use of best practices. Members of NEASC work with schools to assess, support, and promote high quality education and use of best practices while honoring the unique culture of each school it works with.
Accreditation is a reflective process that schools go through every 10 years to make sure the curriculum, resources, support systems and facilities are continuing to provide a quality, high achieving education, offers sufficient support, resources and tools needed for learners and teachers to be successful in and out of the classroom and the curriculum continues to prepare all learners with the skills and knowledge to be successful no matter what career path is chosen upon graduation. JRMS/CHS is up for accreditation in 2023.
What do we need from you?
Over the next few months the staff at JRMS and CHS will collectively be working on the self reflection process which includes collecting different types of evidence as well as surveying learners, parents/guardians and staff to get first hand feedback on our current status. From this self reflection we will work with members of NEASC to create a plan to address our needs and areas for improvement. Parents & guardians, please take a few minutes to complete this short survey. Your input will be extremely valuable to this process and greatly appreciated. All responses are anonymous. This survey link will be active until Sunday, Dec. 5th.
